Suggestions for the school year 2009/2010

- GROWING UP IN AFRICA

Event: Meeting with volunteers from the Foundation

Location: Your school

Date: November – December 2009

Recipients: Students of classes 0 – 6, secondary schools

Goals:

1.         We are looking for educational institutions which would like to cooperate with our Foundation throughout the 2009/2010 school year and promote the project „Growing up in Africa” in and beyond schools. In June 2010 we will award the most interesting project introduced in this school year! We will post the details of the contest our website by 15 March 2010.

The number of activities within the project is unlimited.

2.         We are looking for partners for the Ekirooto (dream) project – see PROJECTS. The meeting with us is the first step to establish cooperation.

The meetings are accompanied by a photo exhibition titled „The Children of Africa” at all levels. In spring 2012 we will organize workshops on children’s rights in Africa in schools cooperating with us.

The educational institution bears the cost of transportation (we travel by car). The Foundation covers the costs of transportation within Warsaw.
